It has been asked dozens of times here.  Why does no one answer?

I scanned the forum and everyone like me can get this to work in an article.  BUT, when we try the same approach in the html editor of a custom html module, we do not get the viewer, we just see our code.

Here is one approach!  I am looking for more so please post them if you find them.

1. Create an article with the {stuff}video{/stuff} in its own category

2. Download and install the Joomla Ultimate Content Display module.

3. Add that module to your page with the parameters:

  ======== CONTENT RETRIEVAL SETTINGS ========
Content source type : CategoryContent
Content source IDs : 39 (this number will be on the far right of the content manager line item)
Ordering:  Most recent
Item count: 1

4. I also could not get the UCD to display it without the title in IE 7.0 so you might need the following:

  ======== ITEM DISPLAY SETTINGS ========
Display: onlyTitle & intotext

This was described elsewhere in the forum, but my difficulty was finding what UCD calls the CONTENT ID.  That category number is not asked for often in my work to date.

Unfortunately, in Joomla 1.5 the custom module option does not allow plugin parsing. In other words, AllVideos and any other plugin cannot simply work inside custom modules.

The solution you provided is the best one and we've followed for a long time on our projects as well (e.g. www.cinemad.gr).
