First I would say that I tried a lot and also search within this forum...
I am still facing the following issue
- the youtube video is displayed with Chrome and Firefox / not with IE 11
same issue even when I updated with the last allvideo release : 4.8.0
the issue is for 2 joomla ( 2.5 and 3 )sites I manage and the same from 2 different windows 7 PC.

No actually I dont display self hosted video, only youtube ones.
I looked to the post you proposed, I dont think it's the same issue
When you open the link I included with IE, do you have the same issue I submit ?

Actually my adobe flash player is a the latest release : 28.0.0.126
I uninstalled it and installed it again with the version specific for IE.
Always the same issue.
Based on your suggestions, I understand that on your side with my site www.astrophoto-passion.com/index.php/timelapse-du-mois
it's displayaing ? / Could you confirm.

I got a Flash error in my IE installation. I am on a mac currently so everything works fine on my end currently. However take a look at this support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2532294/videos-won-t-play-in-internet-explorer

Actually I think that my issue is now fixed.
I discorevered a conflict with an other plugin no more needed... ( content Jplayer )
once this plugin disable, anything seems correct.
