I'll add to this that the "manual" changes are nothing - after pressing enter the date format is incorrect again (for example: 2014-09-16% H:54:00). I do not know if this is just an error on my pages (the same error I have on other sites) or is a general Joomla problem.

If the error appears outside of K2 (eg articles) then this is a global Joomla! issue.
