Hey,

Migrating a site. Literally nothing has changed except moving site from Joomla 1.0.15 to Joomla 1.5.9.

The site is not yet public and exists a directory down from the root directory.

All videos recognizes this and adjusts appropriately - however - the videos don't work.

When I go to the page and click on the screen arrow - I get this message: Video not found. www.mydomain.com/newsite/images/stories/vid

And then the path stops - when it should actually be www.mydomain.com/newsite/images/stories/videos/myvideo.flv

Does the fact that the path appears truncated have anything to do with it?

Everything else seems proper.

Help! Deadline is fast approaching.

Thanks!

PS - I did not post the proper URL as the site is not live.

Anybody have any hints as to what I could look for? Tried ftp'ing up new movies - same result.

Could the plugin be truncating the path? How many characters long can the path be?

Is there a paid support option to maybe get help finding an answer?

**Solved**

Using underscores in the files name is BAD. The combination of the calling command in the srticlae itself and underscores in the title cause the title to be truncated (in the article itself) when you upgrade Joomla version.

It does not matter if the PATH appears truncated in the warning message - or that the permissions may not be writable - but appears to be some sort of bug within Joomla.

SO - after installing a Joomla update or an ALLVideos update - go bact to the article with the viseo call command in it and make sure the title matches the title of the video in the images/stories/videos directory.
