I'm only seeing the {youtube)12345678{/youtube} coding displayed instead of the video.

Any thoughts?

I've searched these forums and have found literally hundreds of posts where people are experiencing the same issue, but I haven't found the solution.

Are you sure that YouTube still provides the video you mentioned?
If so provide me with a link to it and pm me access to your super admin so as to help you.

I've since worked out that I can add this video into an article without problems but when I add it into my side bar using a module I just get the youtube text........is it possible to place a video into a side bar? 

if so how do I do it.
