Not working for me too...
Only in this configuration :
Firefox Mac with AllVideos playing Quicktime movies
:(

Other configs are OK.
Even Firefox Windows with AllVideos playing Quicktime movies

Katia, I am afraid it is an old unsolved problem...

Exactly the same issue here my friends.... latest plugin, latest joomla, latest quicktime.

Sound - no image for .mov & .mp4...

Any news ???

Well I though to solve the problem by switching from AllVideo to All Video Reloaded and the problem is exactly the same !
:'(

Supposing it was a codec issue, I tried to encode my .mov in 2 ways :

- using Compressor with H264
- using Squeeze with Sorenson Video 3 Pro

2 different codec and very same result :
audio OK but blank white screen on FireFox Mac (only)

Strange things :
- if I have some tabs on the same FF window and I swicth from another one, the image appears...
Something about Z index ?
- No problem to read .flv

Any idea to get through ?

If it is matter of Quicktime version, try to use flv form for your video and you will not have any problem.

I have good news. My systems (xp Pro and Win 7) just updated to Quicktime 7.6.5 from 7.6.4 and the AllVideos plugin is now showing videos using Quicktime correctly. Has there been any word from the developers yet if they are working on this issue and if they plan to release an update to fix the issue for Quicktime versions between 7.5 and 7.6.4? It would just be nice to have some solid information about the issue so we can make informed decisions about our installations. Thank you.
