I am trying to develop a website and want to add videos into it. I have installed the plugin allvideos-v3.1 in my joomla website. My videos are on remote server and is of .mov format, that is why I used " {movremote}http://www.mywebsite.com.mov{/movremote}". But whenever any one wants to play the video.. a pop up window appears and says " Additional plugins are required to display all the media on this page. Install missing plugins" and in the middle of the page it says click to download plugin.

Please kindly help me to get rid of this problem. I am running the website on localhost and using XAMPP server.

What is the missing plugin the message says you to install? Is it Quicktime plugin? I would like to see your site online so let me know when you get it in order to help you.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, the missing plugin it says is quick time plugin. I know, for that I have to have quick time player installed on my computer but I want it to play even if the quick time player is not installed. Is it possible?

I don't have any server to upload the website now. Please check the attachment, I have tried to show the print screen of that. Please help.

Try to use another form of video instead of mov. For mov Quicktime is necessary. Check here for other options:
