With Joomla 1.5.1 and Allvideos 3.1, the Dim light link at the bottom of the clip disappears as soon as the clip finish loading. It shows until clip is loading. However height I set for the box, the Dim light link disappears in IE 7 onwards. However, it's fine in Firefox. Any clues guys?

I am also experiencing this problem with v3.3.
Everything works fine in firefox but in IE (v 8.0) the dim lights link dissapears as soon as the page had loaded.

I've played around with the code a bit and if you remove the a class "avLightbox" the link does not dissapear (but of course it dooes't work with the class removed). Not sure if that's helpful at all.

Unfortunately the site isn't going live for a few more days so i don't have a link.

I too have encountered this problem, however, looking at jw_allvideos.js on line 27 you'll find the code that hides the "dim lights" link from IE.

If you uncomment this code and test the dim lights link in IE, it clearly doesn't work, there appears to be an error in AC_QuickTime.js

My question is why doesn't it work in IE? and will this be corrected in future versions of allvideos?

I've found the option in the plugin parameters for the dim lights link, the tooltip says that its disabled for IE because IE doesn't support standards - good enough excuse for me :)

I'm getting the same problem! anybody can help me?

I think I have a similar problem.  The Dim lights button only works sometimes.  The dark grey background is often missing and then the Dim lights button doesn't function.
