Is it possible to store the video files in a folder outside root? I need to set up this as files are on a members only site and I need to restrict access so that the files cannot be accessed directly.

use a login tab. then make an article with you private vids called members vids in it. then go to main menu and make the tab e. members login and in the to right select 'members vids'. go down to 'access level' and select 'registered'. when people then register, you are able to give them access or not in your site/user manager.
