O.K.  So this is my first time using this plugin.

Here's my info:
Currently using allvideos v.3.3
Joomla! 1.5
Website URL: cnuanimeclub.net46.net/
Here's a sandbox area that has an example of my problems:
cnuanimeclub.net46.net/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=61&Itemid=71

I'm able to get remote videos to play from youtube.

However, I cannot get any videos to play from my own server unless I enable autoplay.
I don't want to use autoplay, so this is a bit of a problem.  Also, it only shows a play/pause bar when I'm remotely using youtube files...

As an example, I have a file called mini-x1.mp4 in my images/stories/videos folder.
I use the tag {mp4}mini-x1{/mp4} and it won't load the video and play unless I have autoplay enabled.  And it doesn't show the play/pause bar either way.

I've tried a few other videos with the same result.  My images/stories/videos folders are all chmodded to 777 as well as the videos contained within.

Just let me know what else you need to help me and I'll provide it.  Thank you!  ^_^

Also, how do I play an .mpg file?  Is it not available?

If anyone else has a similar problem as above, through a LONG process of debugging, which if nothing else helped me to understand how the allvideos scripts work, I've found that if you do not have Quicktime installed on your computer then the allvideos plugin will function oddly.

If you do not have Quicktime you will still be able to play .mp4 video if it is in autoplay mode, however if you do not have autoplay enabled it will not load the video at all.

Also, if you do not have Quicktime installed then you will not be able to see a controller bar at all.  This means that there will be no play/pause or progress buttons displayed at all.

In the future, installing the Quicktime program should be suggested in the allvideos documentation as many people who are using this script may not have it already installed and many, like myself, may not understand the workings contained within' the code.  It sure would have saved me a lot of time had it been suggested during the installation steps.  I was using this plugin as a client per normal blackbox methods.

That being said, this is still a WONDERFUL plugin!  I'm very happy with it now that I've found my problem.  I also see this plugin going very far, especially with its close association with Joomla! 1.5.

Keep up the good work guys!
Best Regards!
