I am using k2, with allvideos...things are just fine if it is a youtube sourced video, and I get a still for the preview with a 'play' button.
However, when I use the Quicktime pro to compress video for the web, and place the files on my server, it makes four files, one is a master 'control' file, while the other three are various files compressed at different levels for delivery to different media...one for iphones, one for ipad and one for desktop...the control file then picks the appropriate file to deliver to the web browser.
This requires the player to point only to the 'control' file.
In the K2 interface, I have the options for different sources, but the only one that works for a video residing on my server, not youtube or vimeo, is the 'remote video' option, requiring my full http address for the file....
Because of this, the initial view is an empty black frame. Is this proper? Is there any way to get at least a button, and ultimately get an image preview with a button?
