Hi

I use allvideos 3.3 to stream mp3s from my Joomla 1.5.18 site, and also to link to youtube videos.

It's a great plugin, and has worked perfectly since I started.

However, recently - maybe a week ago? all the youtube vids have started offering

"404 - Resource not found" responses.
Looking around on the net, there are a few other people out there, who are having a problem with youtube, though youtube claim to have changed nothing.

Any ideas?

Check that the video you use is still accessible in youtube.

Yes had the same problem as the OP did. But for some reason it appeared and now it is all working fine for me.

OK. Katia.  It's taken me a while to get back to this, and it's still not working.

Yes, your link works.

However, after looking a little deeper, I've come up with a more complete symptom.
If (as in your link) the youtube embedded vid is on the page which is in the article, and there are enough actual video slots to show the video on the screen (ie Menu Item/Parameters(Basic)/#Intro) is set high enough that there are no more textual links to youtube on the page, (as it is on the link you sent), it all works just fine.

The problem is when there IS an overflow text link (ie when #Intro is set at less than the vid concerned) in which case it fails with a 404.

Hope this is enough info for someone to come up with a fix, or to at least acknowledge that there is, in fact, a problem.

In the top menu, if you click Video Archive, you get a youtube vid link on screen, and a list of other vid text links.  The one on screen will play, the others get a 404.

Next to it is V A 2, which is a copy of Video Archive, but with 2 videos linked into the intro.  ALL of these will play fine, but not any of the text links below them.

The only difference is the Menu Item/Parameters(Basic)/#Intro being set to 2 instead of 1 in admin.
