Hi,

I'm developping a new website under Joomla!. I know Allvideos plugin and i like it because it's very functionnal.

On this website, i have long videos to publish (10-15 minutes) so i try to encode these in mp4 with an H264 compression. I got a good result with little files and a good image quality.

I publish one video on my website using this syntax:
{mp4}name_of_my_video{/mp4}
But this is Quicktime player which loads and plays the videos. It's normal because it's an mp4 file.
I don't like this player because it takes many times to load and it's unstable.

My question is: is-it possible to force mp4 videos in JwPlayer?

Thanks for your reply.

I would check out this blog post. It will solve your problem by playing the mp4 file using the standard JWPlayer instead of the quicktime player.
