Hi, I am trying to install via Joomla Extension Mangager installer the package plg_jw_allvideos-v3.1_j1.5 but am receiving the following error:

JFolder::create: Could not create directory
Unable to create destination

I have previously installed the package on my usual server with no issues, but this particular client is on a Windows based server (Plesk interface rather than Cpanel - does that mean it's windows?) and I am having file creation issues. I have checked that the standard joomla files permissions are ok, using the Help-System Info-File Permissions in the Joomla backend, and they are all fine now. I can see that the package file has been loaded up to the server ok, because it is in /tmp directory.

I have followed the link in other posts and tried all of the suggestions in the Joomla Extensions forum to make this work, but it hasn't made any difference.

My question is, what directories need to be write enabled for permissions, for the installation and running of this All Videos plugin? Can you please give me a specific list of directories. The user documentation on your website didn't give any particular details.

Hi can anybody else help me with this? I have sent Katia two personal messages with super admin details as requested, but haven't had a response.

Is there another global moderator who can help me?
Thanks,
Nicola

In case anyone else has this problem, it turns out that it was due to PHP Safe mode being "ON".
It was not caused by this plugin, but actually effected all components that were attempted to be installed. Found this out by trial and error.

PHP safe mode "ON" protects some processes and directories during installation of 3rd party components. This needs to be turned "OFF" via your control panel/Plesk. If you do not have access to turn it off, contact your hosting provider.

Hope this helps someone.
