Do you can't fix problem or can't find the problem? The problem is: player shows different duration of track in different time.

Ok, i'll explain: try to play first track in google chrome. It's 5:04.

Now try to play it in another browser: firefox, opera - it shows (for example) 5:06, 3:52 and etc.

WHY???

Similar problem here:
thecareerclinic.com/podcast

Once you start playing the mp3, duration shows double actual time (I tested in other players and Soundbooth to verify actual duration).
I see the player.swf dates back to 7/1/09. Is there an updated version?
thanks-
Alan

I have found what seems to be a solution, although I have not tried this with video or done complete cross-browser testing.

1. Go to the Longtail site and download the non-viral version of the latest Longtail media player (the viral version adds an annoying 'embed-share-info' menu that does not play nice with the AV plugin):

www.longtailvideo.com/players/jw-flv-player/

2. Extract the zip.
3. Then replace the player.swf in your installed Allvideos plugin (located in includes/players/mediaplayer) with the player.swf from the Longtail mediaplayer-5.5 folder.

Duration times now work fine.

It's probably a good idea to update the swf in any case, given security vulnerabilities exposed in flash players over the past two years...
