Videos are not showing up. was created by urbanguru
Hello, I am trying to get AllVideos to work but I'm getting the "Video not found or Access Denied:" error. I have read all the forum posts that I could find regarding this issue. I have checked all the paths to make sure they are correct. I've checked the file name to make sure it was correct and that the file extension was not present in the tag. I have also set the permissions on that folder to 777 for maximum permission. Nothing seems to work.
I have also changed the path to a video folder I made directly on the root to see if the path might have been too long or had characters that the plugin didn't like. I changed the path to "Videos" as it's directly on the root. I comes up on the player error message as sgvmusic.com/Videos/throwmedown.flv So I can see that the path is correct and everything is spelled correctly. Does anyone have a clue what's going on? Please help.
Here is the URL of the page I'm trying to show it on. Maybe that would help to see as well. sgvmusic.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=64&Itemid=64

What format do you use for your video?
Try to display a video via youtube for example to see if it works.

I have a similar problem...
I've Joomla 1.5.22 and installed Allvideo for Joomla 1.5 version 3.3. I have enabled the extension in Extensions\Plugin Manager.
I've have the following youtube tag I'd like to use {youtube}pyLfMgTtsHc{/youtube} but the video is not loaded. Instead the tag is shows....
Please have a look at www.basug.nl/nl you'll see the tag on the righthandside.
Any advice?
Gr,
Sudhier

You cannot load the video in a module that doesn't parse plugins.

You just need to use a module that parses plugins.
Try downloading the Joomlaworks Custom Code module. I believe it will do the trick ;)
