Hello, I have tried to install a quickstart package. I enter the address of my site, as per documentation. I am not using Akeeba, and yet this message appears: "Akeeba Next Generation Installer For Joomla! requires PHP 5.3 or later"

Hosted using GoDaddy - not sure which vn of PHP but wild guess its a lowerver vn.

Can you tell me what I should do next?

Since you have an older version of PHP 5.3 the Akeeba installer won't be able to run. Try to install the quickstart package manually as described here: nuevvo.com/documentation/general-resources/installation/item/63-manually-install-the-quickstart-package

PS. It would be best if you could ask your hosting company to upgrade the PHP version on your server to 5.3 or above.
