Pre Puchase Queries - Radio Wave was created by Mike
Very interested in this Radio Wave template.

Can anyone answer these various questions, apologies they're simple but I can't find the answers online!

1. Can an image (logo) be used in the header ... and can that be static, so that it remains visible when scrolling?

2. Similarly, can the menu options be static at the top of the screen?

3. Can 'code blocks' be inserted, which may contain HTML? Thinking of feeding recently played song titles from Centovacast in a list format, which are Javascript. I know the Radio Wave pop up player shows 'current song' so wonder if the coding is already in place?

4. Based on the show schedule, can the current timed show be shown as a standalone feature and would that change in real time?

Many thanks,

Mike

Replying...

1) Yes
2) Yes, it's a couple of CSS rules which we can provide you with through our support helpdesk.
3) Absolutely - we just use Radiojar (the service) for demo purposes - use anything you want.
4) If (as in Radiojar's case) this is supported by CentovaCast's widget (I assume it is), then it's just case (3).

Many thanks Fotis!

My question 4 was not related to the stream feed.

The template has a daily program schedule, I wondered if its possible to have a timed event, coinciding with that schedule, to display which show is 'ON AIR' currently?

On that same subject of the program schedule, I read somewhere else in this forum, that the program schedule only functions in blocks of two hours, whereas we have a number of 3, 4, 1 and 6, as well as 2 hours .... Will it cater for these timings?

Thank you so much,

MIke

Hello,

Yes, you can show which show is currently on air.
You can see the module in action next to the player.
Now, as for the slots. The quickstart package comes with two hour slots which can be changed to your desired hours. ;TLDR you can switcth to 6, 4 or 3hr shows really easy.

Many thanks Krikor, very helpful.

You didn't mention the shows which are just one hour duration, but I image that length is not a problem ...

Hello Mike,

Yes, duration is not an issue.
You can even create new slots to have eg: 24 1hr slots.

Thank you again Krikor ...

I'll be purchasing the template and then get on with building a new site using it.

No doubt I'll be asking lots of questions ;)
