Component won't install J1.5

I have looked around the forum and could not find an answer to my question... I may have missed it, but I will ask now anyway.
I tried to install DISQUS on my joomla site, it would say that the component and plugins install was a success but the component would not appear.

I don't use K2 or anything like that, i am just using J1.5.23.

Has anyone struck this issue before?
