Hi everyone. Great plug-in. Works very well and super easy to implement. I seem to be having a problem though. It may be my SEF messing with the plugin or my joomla being in a subdirectory, but the issue arises after a comment is added and submitted.
As opposed to receiving this URL
www.sunshineofficial.com/revamp/disqus_reply=752190.html#comment-752190
I get something like this:
www.sunshineofficial.com/revamp/revamp/disqus_reply=752190.html#comment-752190
You can test it out on my site:
www.sunshineofficial.com/revamp
where the "revamp" is being added twice. Any ideas? Thanks a lot for this great plugin!

You need to enable the SEF suffix in the Global Configuration of Joomla so that it adds .html at the end of the URLs. I hope you're using Joomla! 1.5's built-in SEF, right?
That is the reason why we did not release the plugin for Joomla! 1.0.x and we're waiting for the DISQUS guys to fix this (=the addition of a query string by DISQUS when someone submits a post/comment).

I'm actually using SMART-SEF. Is there a possible work around here?

I'm afraid we cannnot mute the resulting query string added by DISQUS at the moment. But the guys at DISQUS have promised an update soon.
