Blank comment box in Disqus section article page

Hi,
I tried browsing the forum for an answer to this but didn't see anything that seemed to fit.

I have Disqus v2 installed on a Joomla site, have set up my corresponding Disqus account, added the website into the plugin details... I am still testing the install (of Disqus) and section that I would like commentable so right now it is available only to registered users (the admin team of the website).

The "Add a comment" link appears at the bottom of the article, but I am unable to type anything in the blank box that appears. What's going on? I'm testing this with a test account that has full access to the front-end of the site (even though I set my Disqus account up to allow comments by anyone).

I would really like to get the answer to this ASAP, I am on a deadline with this and if this issue isn't resolved in the next day I'll be moving on to another comment module. Which, based on features and everything, I really want to use this one.
