Where is it possible to adjust the nuModusVersus slideshow speed and related parameters?

Or, is FrontPage SlideShow a more flexible alternative? Is there a FPSS template that would yield a similar look?

I'm afraid that there is no FPSS template included for this template (if it were then there would be a specific reference in the template's documentation).

You can change the Slideshow speed through the module's code in templates/nuModusVersus/html/mod_k2_content/Slideshow/default.php
The interval is the one deciding the slideshow's speed.
