I am having trouble getting headlines/titles to show in a Joomla category blog - they show if I use a K2 category blog, but then I can't get 2 columns to work.
This is a Joomla category Blog

Featured Articles (the same for now)
www.ditchlingfair.co.uk/

This is a K2 blog across 2 columns - www.ditchlingfair.co.uk/scarecrows.html - the titles work, but 2 columns don't. I've obviously missed a trick, but I've been trying so many combinations with no success...

The reason you cannot get the 2 columns to work is that you are using (in the link you sent me) a latest item by category layout while you should be using a K2 Category layout.

These videos will help you understand K2 better.
getk2.org/documentation/k2class2012 I strongly suggest you watch them when you have the time. They will save a lot of time and effort.
