I have just bought FrontPage SlideShow v3 of JoomlaWorks. Impossible to install it in Joomla 16 neither from the management of the extensions nor the by copying the file Zip in the root of the site.
The error message is "JInstaller::Install : impossible de trouver un fichier d'initialisation XML
Le chemin ne contient pas de pack valide"
" JInstaller:: Install: impossible to find a file of initialization XML
The road does not contain valid pack "
Could you help, thank you

I think of having found: it is a problem with Joomfish who is not any more in joomla 16

Thanks, but I have a same problem in Joomla 1.7, and same error message > "JInstaller: :Install: XML installationfile not found"

Any advices? Thanks!

A word of advise.... Update to Joomla 1.7 ASAP.

Hi. Please ensure that you are installing version 3 of the Frontpage Slideshow. Earlier versions are not 1.6/1.7 compatible. Also try to install some other extension and see if you get any error.
