we would like the thumbs on the right and the slides on the left (opposite of how they are now)
is this possible ?

Yes via css. Open the css folder of the FSD template and change floating for the thumbnails and slides from right to left and the opposite.

thanks, but css is not my friend .. could you possibly let me know the lines/changes ?
i found the file to do it in and found this one to get the large slide to float left

... but I have tried several things but can't get the MORE part to the left or the thumbs to the right
