500 - An error has occurred - String could not be parsed as XML was created by Marc Erck

I'm having trouble installing version 3.5.2 of Frontpage SlideShow. I'm receiving the error message "500 - An error has occurred - String could not be parsed as XML."

Can anybody recommend a solution for this please?
