Frontpage Slideshow remove statistics graphs was created by Wendy Paine

Hi, is there a way to remove the Statistics panel from the Control Panel area of the joomla screen, where it sits below the Quick Icons? I've disabled the statistics from the FPSS options, but this graph display still shows on the control panel, taking up lots of space and sits above some other extension specific quick icons.
It's a j1.5 site with FPSS 3.2.0. Thanks.
