Error shows when registering users through jomsocials multi step signup process.

This component should support user registration from custom forms and not assume that the k2 extended form elements will be available during the onAfterStoreUser event.

K2 is somehow causing this error to come up when someone tries to register through JoomSuite User component, why?? I know it's K2 because someone reported it on the Community Builder forum:

Why does K2 have ANYTHING to do with JS User registration?

Anyone? please, need to solve this.....

I had to turn off the k2 profile plugin for this but it has now given a different error which I have listed a few posts down. I would love some reply from Joomlaworks devs on where and how to fix it though.
