K2 Titles was created by Franco Mocke

Hello,

All my titles are wrong, they are the aliases of the articles. How can I fix this?

For instance, an article's title would appear like this:

car-insurance-for-women | car-insurance

It should be:

Car Insurance For Women | Car Insurance

If I can't change this, what files are responsible for generating the Titles so that I can go and edit them?

By default it should grab the titles. Check to see of you have a some SEF extension (Sh404sef,Joomsef) on first and mess with that. I would re-upload k2 files.

I have Sh404sef installed, could this be the problem? I can't find a place where to edit K2 in Sh404sef, so I'm not sure what to change. Should I reinstall the plugin?

Ok, it is Sh404sef, I disabled it and my titles worked, so now I have to figure out how to configure Sh404sef!

there should be a plugin for k2 to work with sh404sef I'm not quite sure if there's anything that works properly available..

In the last version of K2 (2.1) the sh404 plugin is built in k2 component (location: /components/com_k2/sef_ext/), i have the same problem, but i dont know how i can change only the titles, NOT the URL, width the k2 sh404sef plugin...

You can fix that by going to sh404SEF Configuration -> Plugins (tab) -> Use Title Alias (default is YES), should be NO.

Does not work, still the same problem. The Title Alias is being used as the Title, it should not be that way.

Yeah, i just installed sh404sef and i was reading the configuration. Now i have the same problem. Can someone help us?

Same here... i saw that at the end of com_k2/sef_ext/com_k2.php, the variable $title[] is set correctly, but somehow in the title i get aliases.
Could it be the template? I use a JoomlArt template and noticed some title functions. Nowadays, everyone messes with these data: template, components, plugins.
Anyone has any idea as to what causes this?
