Getting rid of /index.php/component/k2/item was created by Andrew Stocker
Hey everyone,
I just searched this forum to try and find out how to get rid of:
"/index.php/component/k2/item" in my URL's whenever I open a K2 article.
It seems very excessive and I don't understand why it is like that.
Unless it is intentionally like that so people pay for an SEO pack to fix it.
Anyone know how to get rid of this structure?
Thanks

Make a menu link to the item category.

OK, thanks. I have sorted it out!
First go to Menu Manager -> Add Menu -> Add menu item
And here choose the K2 Categories from the "type of menu", from the pop-up window.
Thanks a lot.

Hi. Create a menu link to the category of this item and the URLs will get updated.
