we released a new plugin which will give you the feature to convert K2 items content in tab layout.

The plugin is very advanced and will save you many hours of editing k2 item view and templates.

The plugin supports MVC and provide templating system so will never mess with the overrides of your template provider. :)

Also you can create tab with gallery, text, related items only with one click by changing the parameters of the plugin :P

is it possible to add to one tab SOME, not all of extra fields, and to another tab another extra fields, taken with aliases or ids? With this feature i would first who use your extention:)

It will be very difficult to manage which field in which tab to go :unsure:

It can be achieved by some changes in the template of the plugin and override :whistle:

is it a big deal to add for each tab a multiple select with existing extra fields, to add choosen fields to the tab, and to the next tab - choose another fields, and so on...?

It will be a very difficult and complex.

Also it will be difficult to display all fields with check box for all tabs.

If you have 100 extra fields, and want to create 10 tabs?
You will need to display 100 extra fields with check boxes 10 times...

I will add your idea to the wishlist.

Is it complex? You show the same drop down list with multiple selection possibility populated by all extra fields for each tab you create. And for each tab you do a selection from this drop down.

I achive this at the moment so, that i use atabber extention from nonumber.nl and populate tabs in my template override with extra fields choosen per alias or id.
