Why K2 real URL can be index in google ?

Why K2 real URL can be index in google ? was created by LUXE HIGH
Dear All,
I am facing a really swear problem, which i wonder someone notice and can help, I am monitoring since last 5 months, our real URL are not not index in google, for example
my url is : http:/site.com/must-haves/boodles-cocktail-rings (in google always this has to be index right '?
No single record is indexing all?
This is what pattern google is indexing links for each URL
http:/site.com/must-haves/boodles-cocktail-rings/501-boodles-cocktail-rings
Also We tested on our other newly developed websites where we are using K2, Issue is the same.
Please can you help is this a bug ?,

This is the double alias problem. I have not found a complete solution to this problem. You have to try different methods.
One way is to install sh404SEF. I have not tested this but other say it works.
I have done a ugly core hack in Joomla sef.php:

K2 > Parameters
Select Advanced tab
Enable advanced SEF for K2 URLs => Yes
Set
Use the item ID in the URL => No
=> your web url => vietpublic.net/must-haves/boodles-cocktail-rings/boodles-cocktail-rings
Set
Use the item ID in the URL => Yes
=> your web url is
vietpublic.net/must-haves/boodles-cocktail-rings/501-boodles-cocktail-rings

Dear All
Solution which you are providing its not giving proper solution as have to make 1000s of URL redirects.
I just saw recently i publish article in category name "The Columnist " this is my right URL.
luxehighlife.com/the-columnist/top-10-new-year-s-eve-destinations-2013-2014
In google this is what indexed. Have a look in screen prntscr.com/1pu9rd
and
this is url "luxehighlife.com/bags/528" which is indexed.
Its nothing to do in bags section
i hope you understand issue how critical it is

Hello,
As I have told you multiple times in the past you either need to use an SEO Extenion and some 301 redirects for your URLs or use a canonical link plugin which offers K2 integration.
And to answer this question every CMS's permalinks are hackable which means URLs can be accessed in multiple ways. So using a canonical tag will solve this issue.

We are using SEO extension also, But as per concerning index URL to Google, This is how k2 works in actual ?

If you are using proper canonical links then 301 (for a 1000 articles) sound to me like an overkill.
If you are using canonical tags and even if multiple URLs are indexed you won't get penalised for double content.
As for the hackable part this is how it work so when you use canonical links that won't be an issue.

it would be actually great, if JoomlaWorks would solve the issue with canonical url. Because Joomla 3
already offers this feature for com_content, but K2 items get strangely doubled prefix. I solved it with
a manual code, but every time I update Joomla I have immediately to change the sef.php... otherwise all my
urls would be indexed with wrong canonicals.
