Hi I'm having the same problem!!!
I tried to install K2 and then my backend and frontend went blank after installation.
Did you just uninstall K2 through the database? Can you tell me the details? (like which table you looked into etc)
I do not have the access to the server or database, so I need to know more information so that I could pass on the message to another person who has the access to solve the problem.
Thank you
Joomla version 1.7

@khsik
Hi. This indicates a PHP fatal error. Since you cannot access the administration interface you will have to edit the file configuration.php on the root of your site and set error reporting to maximum:This should make the error display. Let me know about the error details. However, don't expect K2 to work normally on Joomla! 1.7. Update to Joomla! 2.5.20 first. You can do it with a single click through Joomla! updater.

Hi Lefteris,
Thank you for your reply.
I finally got the reply from the person in charge and he said he restored the backup database, so we could access our frontend and backend now.
I will consider of upgrading our website, thanks again for your advice.

You are welcome. Actually you should update. Joomla! 1.7 was a short term support version, is already outdated and not supported even by the core Joomla! team.
