Joomla Cache or Jot Cache for K2 was created by Anne Marie Rasmussen
Hi,

I have been using Jot Cache for all of my sites but since I've started using K2 noticed some slow down on the sites using K2 as opposed to the ones not. I've read that it might be a caching problem so wondered if JotCache is not suitable for K2? Should I just use the native Joomla cache instead? The site I'm currently building is a directory site which could have a lot of items eventually so think getting the cache right is going to be critical. :(

Hello Anne Marie,

In all of our sites we are using Joomla!'s default cache. It is running just fine. What you should look into for performance is which cache is your server using APC, file cache etc.

Litespeed released Joomla LiteSpeed cache plugin, which is much faster than Joomla "System - Page Cache" and "Jot Cache".
