Inserting a main page/article image - doesn't work

Inserting a main page/article image - doesn't work was created by craig
:( I am trying to insert main item/article image into the item, but once I press upload.. the screen goes blank everytime and doesn't it insert it once I go back to the item in admin. Need this to work.. stuck. It's worked in the past, but I can't see anything new that we've inserted that conflicts with it.

Hello craig,
Maybe you have an issue with the upload limit. Have you tried to upload a smaller image?

Yeah i test that.. ours is set to 64mb,, and the image is 400k..
Anything else it might be?

What happens is, I go to upload a NEW image on the item page. And the screen goes blank.
Just has admin url in URL link.. thats it.

Hi.. it's Joomla 3.2.1 K2 = 2.6.7

Please upgrade to K2 SVN version 2.6.8 from here: getk2.org/assets/get/ which is compatible with Joomla! 3.2.1.
If the issue persists enable the error reporting from your global configuration and let us know of the error you get when the blank screen appears upon save.

HI.. installed newer version and still get same result. Turned on Debug console... and it's too large to send somehow... I've attached an initial screen shot. (this is from the item page) Cannot get debug error after I've saved.. screen is totally blank. Thanks

Did you enable error reporting? We need to see if you are getting a php error in that blank page.

I have, but when I get to that page - its still blank.. with no error mentioned... what do I do?

Try to get a fresh copy of the K2 SVN version 2.6.8 from here: getk2.org/assets/get/ and re-install it.
Then if the issue persists try to Disable your template overrides and check again.
Of course, clean your site's and browser's cache.

Check your server's memory limit. Go to K2 Information to see this. Try to upload a very small image in your K2 item and see if it is uploaded then. If it is then it is definitely the memory limit.
You just have to increase it in your server's php.ini file.
Ask your hosting company to help you with that.

Did that by inserting a 50k file.. and still no go.
I inserted that same image into the item/page/article and it appears..

Just WONT insert as a header image for the Article... Please fix, this is getting ridiculous.

We have figured something out but I need you to try and do this:

add in your htaccess this

AddHandler php5-cgi .php

and let me know.
