Dimensions Category Image was created by David
I have these categories:
-Products
--Cakes
---cake a
---cake b
--Biscuits
--Savory pastries
In "products" I have pictures of each category.
Unfortunately I see them very small (about 50 * 50).
How can I enlarge them?
I state that the images uploaded on the site are in the format 800 * 600, so it seems strange
Can you help me?

Hi. Are you sure that the images are indeed very small and they are not resized by your template's CSS? The settings for the image dimensions are applied for new images only. So if you changed it after you uploaded the images you have to upload them again.

I tried to check the template's attributes but I didn't find anything about images.
I can't solve this problem
however images are 2000*1800 px

Check again K2 parameters. K2 is resizing category images according to it's settings. A link to your site would be very helpful.

The images are indeed resized in that dimension www.pasticceriapina.it/Joomla/media/k2/categories/24.jpg. So you need to update K2 settings and upload again the category images.

Ok but I don't know where I can update the images' attributes for this category.
is it to the right of the category when I open it? (small, big, ecc...)

You are welcome. The global settings for categories image size can be set at K2 parameters.
