I've recently started working on a site that uses K2 to store its content and am more than a bit lost on how to get a simple blog working properly. I've searched the web, stackoverflow and this forum.
I found one other unresolved case of this issue:
getk2.org/community/English-K2-Community/166434-Basic-Category-Layout-Gird-Problem
Here are the steps I've foliowed:
- a K2 category with 21 active items already exists
- created a menu item of type "K2 Categories" and assigned the single K2 category to it
- set the "item ordering" to "most recent", left other menu options default
- set the Category item layout options to:
- - leading count 0, columns 1
- - primary count 10, columns 1
- - secondary count 0, columns 1
- - links count 0, columns 1
- cleared the cache
The category displays as
Page 1:
1 leading
1 primary
1 secondary
6 links
Page 2:
1 leading
1 primary
1 secondary
6 links
No page 3
changing the template used by the menu item does not change the display, I've tried:
- Beez 2 - Default
- JA_T3_Blank - Default
- OneWeb - Default
All return the same result.
I'm running Joomla 2.5.20 and K2 2.6.8.
