On view "item" active class missing?

On view "item" active class missing? was created by web_dev

If my link has view "item" then is active class in menu missing, what can be the problem here? Parent menu is a filtered tag list.

Hi. In order to have an active link you need to have a menu link directly to this item or it's category.

This don't work for list with link type "tags"? If i come from itemlist to item view page active class is missing.

The same applies to tag lists.
You need a menu item towards that list to have an active class.
