Literature on making blog look good was created by Christina
Hi All, Just new to Joomla! and this community. I have just started a website called www.warestreetmarket.com - multi-vendor e-commerce website selling crafters homemade items. I have started the blog in K2 but have a lot of trouble getting the blog to look just right. I've asked for help from the developers but need a book or pamphlet on how to make my blog look pleasing. If anyone has any suggestions on information that could provide this, I would be most grateful.

Hi. There is no right or wrong in design. It is all matter of state. Can you please clarify what exactly you need? I can give you all the technical details to alter the appearance of your blog but this requires that you have CSS knowledge and a design to match.

Hi.
i have the same issue with my site.thepubtrade.com
My k2 modules display as white text with text effects on a grey background. with zebra row coloring.
I want black on white and no zebra rows.
I have tried deleting the lines for zebra rows and turning both to white but with no effect.
i have k2.css in my template folder. the changes i made to the font family and coling in the articles worked ok.
i know im missing the obvious. ive gone tru the file and changed all font coloring to black assuming that would do it. but no.
please advise. stumped

The white coloring is inherited from your template, not K2.
You have to specify the links color for your sidebar in your template.

Thanks for the reply.
Ive rechecked my template styling. All font / link color settings are set to black #000000. Module head, Article title and content link... yet everthing is white inside my k2 content mods.
