Hi,
Does somebody know if the K2 version 3 will be compatible with the current Simple Image Gallery Pro or would I have to wait for an updated SIG Pro release?

It's already compatible, but there will be a new release a few months later which will allow publishing your galleries into some cloud storage system like Amazon S3, Azure, Google Cloud Storage etc etc.
