K2 v JReviews v SobiPro as a Directory was created by Peter Waddingham
Hi would someone be able to advise if K2 is good to use as a directory . I have stumbled across Jreviews and it looks good. SobiPro I have the free version but not that impressed with. Not a web designer and there seems limited templates to make it look pretty.
I want to create a directory listing services.
For me there are a number of thing I need
1) Proximity search
2) User add content
3) Good filtering abilities e.g. by different headings
4) Looks neat and tidy / works with responsive template
I also like the idea that reviews being part of this (which I think is what Jreviews has at its core).
I have had a quick search again – moset tree keeps coming up / so does sobipro again .

Hello Peter,
If you want to use K2 you would require a custom component as well to filter these search by extrafields (proximity, etc).
Front end editing is there by default and I am sure you will find a ton of responsive and nice K2 templates.
You can take a look at getk2.org/extend/templates and nuevvo.com

You will have to look at the JED or getk2.org/extend .
