[SOLVED] Show subcategories articles on frontpage was created by sd jaafar hakeem
Hi
My default page is set to:
K2 » Latest items from (one or more) users or categories
My Category structure is as described below:
- - news1
- - - - cat01
- - - - cat02
- - - - cat03
- - news2
- - news3
But when the homepage loads it only load just latest news from news2 & news3, and there is no article form the cat01-cat02-cat03.
K2 seems to be loading only from the first level of categories. The question is how to make it load subcategory articles on front-page under parent-category title.
regards.
thnx

You can check your menu item's settings that they indeed allow the loading of items that belong to subcategories.
Finally make sure that the "Catalog Mode" is set to no in the category's settings.

Hi
Thank you sir, but in K2 Settings there is no menu setting about including the sub-categories.
also, all of category settings are set to catalogMode>No.
so, whats the problem and the solution ?
thnx.
