I want to change the language from k2 into dutch and itsn't working.
At first I installed the dutch language for the site, administrator and content and changed it to default. After that I installed K2 and the dutch language pack. Made an article and a categorie and set the language to dutch.
The lanhuage in the black square (see image) changed but the red squares (see image) are not changed. What am I doing wrong?
Best regards.

As for the rating, make sure that your template does not have any hardcoded language strings.

In my case k2 is not translated at all. Tried everything I could find about translating K2 but nothing seems to work.
What bugs me the most is that when I turn on the language debugger the language does change and everything works as it should. This goes for the frontend as well as the backend.
I hope someone can point me in the right direction.
Joomla: 3.3.6 Stable
K2: 2.6.9
Dutch (Netherlands) language pack for K2: 2.5.0
With kind regards,
Richard

Also checked if the languages files in the admin area and they are there to.
I'm afraid the languages files aren't loaded somehow.

This is most likely a hardcoded language string on your template.

I just installed a clean Joomla, without anything added.
Just the basic template and the language files for both the admin
and the front end areas. In both areas the Hungarian language
has been set to default. They work seamlessly.
Than I made a fresh install of K2 and the Hungarian K2 translation.
K2 remains English no matter what I do.

When I opened the Hungarian INI files, they where all English.
Some must have coincidently exchanged them at the download site.
This morning the correct Hungarian file was downloadable and
everything works perfect now.
Thx for your quick reaction anyway!

Én is hasonló problémával találtam szembe magam, tudnál esetleg abban segíteni, hogy hol találtál egy korrekt K2 magyar nyelvi csomagot? Sajnos a getk2.org/-on fent lévő mindkét magyar nyelvi csomag angol stringeket tartalmaz :(
Előre is köszönöm, ha tudsz segíteni!

Egy darabig azt használtam, ami ott volt fenn, aztán lemondtam a K2-ről,
mivel a menüopciói közül hiányzik ami nekem kellett volna és nem volt
kedvem időt veszíteni a fórumozással.
Amúgy, ha részlegesen lefordított stringeket találok én azokat általában
a Freestyle Joomla Translation Manager ingyenes "Lite" verziójával le
szoktam magamnak fordítani, feltéve, hogy akadályoz a munkában.
Ha nem, akkor úgy hagyom.

Not sure what is the "official" K2 language download repository but the download on this one: getk2.org/assets/translations/ked.php contains solely English strings.
