Yes, you can create a menu link to K2 categories and set it to show only featured items.

Same goes for showing only items from a parent category from a menu item with nested categories below it.

Thank you for feedback but you can set the "Show only featured items" setting in the category's params as well. This will eliminate the need to add a second category in the menu item.

I try to set the "show only featured items" and it is not working.
You might know why ???
Actually when i press "save" it doesn't save the setting, so it doesn't work...
Additionally i must tell you that i use the module categories in another part of the site and it works quite fine, only in the menu - categories it doesn't work.

If you already have this category mapped into another menu item you can add a dummy or blank category to force different settings.

if this category is mapped by iteself to a different menu item too. One for example which shows all items, then you need to add another category in the settings (eg: one of its subcategories) to trick it so it respects the multi category settings.
