in a category list layout, when I click the Item Title or the read more link, I get a 404 error page.
The installation is Joomla 3.3.6, latest Gantry v4.1.27 and 2 languages (en / gr )
In greek language everything works fine and the category url is : www.mysite.com/gr/proionta
I get the category's Items in Greek language as expected.
When I click "read more" in an item I go to item with url : www.mysite.com/gr/proionta/proion-1
When I am in english the category url is : www.mysite.com/en/products
I get the category's Items in Englist language as expected.
When I click "read more" in an item I go to item with url : www.mysite.com/en/products/product-1
but instead of the item I get a 404 error page.
GR :
Category alias : proionta
item alias : proion-1
EN
Category alias : products
item alias : product-1
Any ideas ?
Thank you

But as you can understand the site editor cannot create a menu item every time he creates a new k2 Item.
I repeat, this hapens ONLY for the second language.
So is this a K2 bug ?
Can I have an answer from the k2 team please ???

The www.mysite.com/en/products/product-1 is not a K2 URL, unless you removed the id from K2's advanced SEF. Removing the ID is not recommended since there is no way to differentiate between two items with the same alias.
Are you using any SEO/SEF extensions?

So this is the only way right ?
or there are other options using 3rd party (SEO/SEF) extensions to avoid the id in url ?

I'm using joomla! 3.4.1 with K2 2.6.9 and Advanced SEF enabled, with optin Use the item ID in the URL set to no. My site is multilang, en - es. When using es site (as is the default lang), the URLs works just fine, I can access a main menu item that points to a K2 category, and can view all items details through read more link, but if I change the language to en, the "en/" prefix is added to the URL by joomla! and all K2 item details fails to load with 404 error...
IE:
This URL works: www.site.com/nuestros-clientes/insumos-mundo
This URL fails with 404 error: www.site.com/en/our-clients/insumos-mundo
Is that fixable without enabling item ids in URL?, if I enable it, it works, but I wanted to get rid of them.
Thanks in advise!

Spanish default language, K2 cat items work it.mgscreativa.com.ar/mgsj3vm3/nuestros-clientes
English Lang K2 cat items fail it.mgscreativa.com.ar/mgsj3vm3/en/our-clients
Maybe you can't get into the category because of missing joomla! lang switcher cookie, so please, go to the homepage it.mgscreativa.com.ar/mgsj3vm3/ and try the menu item "Nuestros Clientes" and see how it works nicely, all K2 items go to detail flawlessly, but if you change the lang to english, then the "en/" prefix is added to the URL by joomla! (that's correct) and K2 item details fails, in that case, the menu item option is "Our Clients".
Both cats are different and contains items translated and assigned to the correct languages, also the menu items, point to the correct cats in english and spanish respectively...
PS: I have installed VirtueMart 3, so I can handle my store needs, and this error isn't present, I can access all my products details pages with no hassle.
Edit: Here is the screenshot of K2 Advanced SEF parameters i.imgur.com/sER0Zx2.jpg?1

English Lang K2 cat items fail it.mgscreativa.com.ar/mgsj3vm3/en/our-clients
I think that K2 get confussed because the two cats have articles that title is the same in english and spanish, because are personal names that can not be translated, all titles repesent brands. In cat it.mgscreativa.com.ar/mgsj3vm3/en/our-clients, the only item that works is the one called
Mundo Insumos1...

They both redirect to /en/ which is the normal behaviour. Since there are two items with identical aliases, K2 has no way of knowing which item is which.
You can either reinstate the item's id, choose a different alias or map that item into a menu item.
