I would like to ask if it is possible:

1. to change the effect of slideshow. Could we set a fade-out effect?
2. after the end of the presentation, is it possible not to returning back to the first slider but to continue "rightway" to the first one?

I really appreciate any help you can provide.

K2 does not come with a slideshow.
If you mean FrontPage SlideShow please open a ticket so we can sort this out.
In any other case this was created by the template's provider so you need to address this to them.
