Disable User-Blog pages all together? was created by Myorai
Hello there,
hope someone with some experience on this can help me.
i'm looking for a way to disable the k2 "user-blog" pages on the site front-end.
the reason for that: i'm creating a site with about 20 users who have k2 editing permissions - BUT these are "organizational users" and they are not ment to be seen by no one - they exist only to allow editing and publishing permissions.
i'm working with sh404SEF - so URLs are automaticlly created for each user. but even without sh404SEF - these pages would still be accessible to search-bots or by entering the URL in the browser.
to prevent these pages from being seen - iv'e created a hidden menu with k2 user-blog Menu-Items for all the users - and all the menu items Access Levels are set to "manager" - so no public users can see them.
BUT since new users might be created in the future, the best thing will be to disable the creation / display of these pages.
that will also prevent unneccessery maintenance and optimisation.
is there anyway to do that in K2?
thanks,
yorai

You can disable the K2 User profile from K2's settings.
