Responsive Frontend Edit was created by Rupert Griffiths
I made a nice responsive frontend edit form. A very simple form, only a few things can be edited. See images below.
I am having the form open in another tab, rather than popup modal, as this works better on mobile.
Strange problem:
If I open the edit form on mobile it opens up in a new tab - looks great. If I decide to close the tab by clicking the "close" button then the new window closes - this is great and as expected.
But if the item has been saved with any data, then the "close" button does not function any more, and the user needs to close the tab manually.
This problem only exists on mobiles.
Any idea why this is?
Thanks

Hmm this is interesting.
Is there a link to the form?
Also can sou send me some demo credentials though this form www.joomlaworks.net/support/contact so I can test this out?

I sent details and credentials to you :)
But strange I can no longer get the form to open in a new tab anyway.
Still, you may find the form interesting

Yes the form is really nice and straight forward.
I do not know however what is forcing the modal.
