Take a look at the browser console for any javascript errors. If you are familiar with the browser development tools it would be very helpful if you post details about the AJAX request that K2 is making.

I found that issue was with plugin Last Modified.
But developer of this plugin said, that k2 makes not correct requests:

K2's AJAX requests are being made towards com_k2 only.

Ok, since they offer K2 compatibility, it is that plugin that should work with K2 not vice versa.

I'm developer of this plugin and I should say that this one was coded to work only at the frontpage. I do usuall and simple check is it administration area or not.

But in your requests for receiving tags via AJAX not administration part in the path either simple params in the post such as oldschool "&no_html=1" or any else. And that's why plugin thinks that these requests are from the frontpage! :)

So, if you could be so kind it would be excellent to improve your request for tags by any way -- parameter or "administrator" in the path -- such as it done in ZOO, f.e.

This has been changed already in the development version. You can get it from getk2.org/assets/get .

Is it normal, if I will install this version on working project?

Backup first prior installing.
There are some UI issues (CSS stuff) but it should be safe.

In any case backup prior installing this to a production environment.
