Language File not recognized was created by Christian
Hi there,
I am using Joomla 3.x in German, but K2 in some instances does relate back to the english original language file,e.g. in article information:
"Jul 17, 2015 By XXXXX Schriftgröße Schriftgröße verkleinern Schrift vergrößern Drucken E-Mail"
Everything is correctly translated, except "By" (for the author).
Any solution?
Many thanks
Christian

Make sure that the K2_BY="von" string is present in the languages/de_DE/de-DE.com_k2.ini file.
If not you can either edit it or you can add a language override.

Hi Krikor,
it is present and it still shows the english version on the site. I even changed it in the english language file to "Von" but that also makes no different. It seems K2 is getting the "By" from any other file.
Any further idea?
Thanks
Christian

Make sure that the "by" language string is not hardcoded in the template, or another custom string is being used.

Nothing hard-coded... really frustrating :-(
